NatureWrap, led by CEO and Co-founder Linda Achan, was selected to take part in the Women in Innovation Agri-Tech Global Business Innovation Programme to the Netherlands, delivered by Innovate UK KTN for UK companies exploring agritech and foodtech business opportunities with the Netherlands.
The programme introduced selected UK companies to the Dutch food and agritech ecosystem, including opportunities to engage with sector partners, food system innovators and international business networks. The visit also included engagement through the British Embassy in the Netherlands and a reception in The Hague.
For NatureWrap, the programme supported conversations around post-harvest preservation, shelf-life extension, food waste reduction and commercial value in fresh food supply chains. These themes are central to NatureWrap’s work with fresh-cut potato processors and wider food industry partners.
The selection reflects NatureWrap’s focus on practical foodtech innovation for processors and partners interested in reducing avoidable waste, improving product consistency and creating stronger value from existing resources.
